About The 400 Gathering

We believe the time has come for the church to be one

About the 400 Gathering

We believe this is a meaningful moment for churches across Colorado to grow in unity, prayer, and shared mission. The 400 Gathering exists to create space for pastors, leaders, and believers from a wide range of Christian traditions to come together, seek Christ, and encourage one another. Our desire is to strengthen relationships across churches and to support what God is already doing in individual communities. We are not building a separate movement or organization. Rather, we are cultivating connection—making room for collaboration, prayer, and mutual encouragement among the broader Church.

Who is This For?

The 400 Gathering is for pastors, ministry leaders, and believers from all Christian traditions. Whether your background is charismatic, evangelical, liturgical, or another expression of the Christian faith, you are welcome here. The 400 Gathering is for those who want to focus on building relationships, praying together, and encouraging one another as we follow Jesus in our own communities.

Our Approach to Unity

We believe unity is something we grow into together. Rather than focusing on differences, we choose to center on what we share: a commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to see lives transformed by His Gospel. Unity, for us, means building trust, honoring one another, and working together where we can—while still respecting the distinctives of each church and tradition.

Booth & Announcement Policy

Our time together is intentionally focused on prayer, worship, and seeking God. Because of this, we aim to keep our gatherings simple and free from distractions so that we can give our full attention to this shared purpose. While we deeply value the many important causes and ministries within the body of Christ, we ask that gatherings remain centered on this focus. For that reason, we do not host booths, promotions, or public announcements during our events. We do make a limited exception for invited guest ministers, who may have a table for their books or resources. We also allow petitions to be signed in the foyer if pre-approved by Maria Crosby, but without a table or promotional materials.

Our Heart

Our heart is to see followers of Jesus growing together in faith, humility, and love. We long to see churches across different denominations build genuine relationships, pray together, and support one another in their unique callings. We believe that unity does not require uniformity, but it does invite us to listen, learn, and walk together with respect and grace. Our goal is to see a network of 400 ministries and churches across Colorado engaged and building one another up for the Kingdom of God.

What to Expect

Our gatherings are centered on connection with God and one another. We value both shared experiences and personal comfort, and we aim to create an atmosphere where everyone can engage in a way that feels natural to them. You can expect:

  • Times of prayer, expressed in a variety of styles
  • Worship, with freedom for personal expression
  • Space for conversation and relationship-building
  • A respectful environment with no pressure to participate in a specific expression

A Culture of Honor in Corporate Gatherings

We commit to honor the unity of the brethren by considering others more important than ourselves, joined together in perfect unity—with one heart, one passion, and united in one love – we recognize only that which builds up and encourages the body. We remember there are many gifts, but one Spirit who works in unity. For God is not a God of confusion, but of harmony who guides His people to act in a way that is altogether beautiful, respectable and in proper, honorable order. We commit to celebrate the vibrant diversity of the kingdom; with unwavering love and humility, wholly united in Christ. I Cor 12, 14/ 1 Peter 2:4-5
